The First Hola Awards Ceremony will be held on October 17th, 2008. For the first time an event of this magnitude will take place in the city of Augusta and you will be the protagonists.

For this reason we encouraged you to participate and nominate the people you would consider to be recognized for their hard work in this community and to their people. This recognition would not be limited only to the Hispanic individuals but to all those who equally, one way or the other, have contributed to the well-being of this population no matter their nationality.

For all the mothers, it is a great opportunity to be able to nominate a son or daughter that has been academically outstanding and has been an example to the young people under the category of a Young Leader, or any other family member under any other category.


We hope to exceed our expectations with your participation and your interest on being part of this special event. On this edition you will find all the information to find out how to participate.

The Hola Awards Gala Dinner will be a formal event open for the general public. The admission tickets will be sold only to the first 200 people interested on attending this event starting on August 17th. The collected money will be on benefit of the Latin Health Clinic which offers free medical services once a month.
